what are the benefits of yoga? ↓

with constant and regular practice, we learn to breathe, the body becomes stronger and more flexible, we will feel more grounded, we will improve the level of concentration, the ability to more spontaneously maintain an inner calm as well as discovering who we really are

do I need to be particularly strong and flexible to practice yoga? ↓

no

the practice of yoga itself increases strength and flexibility, in body and mind
the main goal of yoga is to discover who we really are

can I practice yoga if I have pain or previous injuries? ↓

it is always a good idea to talk to the teacher about any existing physical conditions and any concerns you have about them

yoga benefits many people with chronic pain by helping the body regain its balance between strength and flexibility, movement and awareness

if you're under a doctor's care for an acute situation, be sure to discuss taking yoga classes with him / her

do you have to be vegetarian or vegan to study yoga? ↓

no

even if the benefits of a mainly vegetarian or vegan diet are many

there are many ways to eat consciously and healthily

can I practice yoga if I'm pregnant? ↓

yoga can be very beneficial during pregnancy, but be sure to let your instructor know you are pregnant

be sure to avoid twists, inversions, pranayama, any abdominal-strengthening poses, and lying on your stomach

remember, balancing poses can get more difficult as you progress through your pregnancy, so use the wall or blocks to keep your balance and stay in the pose longer

make sure you drink plenty of water and take bathroom breaks when necessary

do i have to chant mantras? ↓

traditionally singing is part of yoga practice, obviously you are not obliged to sing, yoga is free of judgment and competition and should never make us feel uncomfortable

let's keep an open mind because singing is an excellent tool for purifying and therefore relaxing the mind and the body

24h during the 3 days immersion + 3 hours during the following 3 weeks after the end of the 3 day immersion

do I have to be a certain level of yoga? ↓

there is no set skill level required to take this course

we ask for a high level of commitment when embarking the course

do I need to purchase anything else in order to complete the immersion? ↓

if you want you buy the manual and the reading books but it is not mandatory

do I need to read all of the required books before starting the course? ↓

no you don't need to read the books before you start the course

throughout the course we do prompt you to read through certain sections of the books to help you with your learning but it is not necessary for you to read all of the books beforehand

do you cover the business aspects of teaching in the training? ↓

there will be a whole module on the business of yoga in the 300h training course

we will study everything from finding your unique niche to marketing

can I study a course with a full-time job? ↓

yes

we have designed all of our courses with busy people in mind

you will have a whole year in which to complete the training so study at your own pace • when it's convenient for you

do I have to be a certain level of yoga? ↓

if you are new to practicing yoga then we recommend studying the basics course first

to study our 200h course, we recommend to have already completed self practice course

to study our 300h course, you will need to have already completed a 200h course with us or another yoga alliance certified school

no

200h or 300h training courses are designed to have some online modules and some in person modules

do I need to purchase anything else in order to complete the training? ↓

yes

you will need to purchase the required reading books in the list in order to complete this training

if I miss the online class, can I watch it back at a more convenient time? ↓

yes

we record all of our online class so you can play them back whenever you want to and as many time as you like

no you don't need to read the books before you start the course

can I eat or drink before class? ↓

it is a good idea to come to class hydrated and drink lots of water after the yoga class

try not to eat a full meal at least three hours before class

how should i dress? ↓

sporty, comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement

what should i bring to class? ↓

bring water or infusion to keep yourself hydrated, a yoga mat a couple of bricks but above all the heart

if I arrive late what can I do? ↓

we always advise you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the lesson to change, take a seat in the room and relax
